Aaron Fjellman is an American writer and director. He recently made his feature film debut with Caged, a psychological thriller about the horrific, mind bending effects of solitary confinement.  The film stars Edi Gathegi (X-men First Class), Melora Hardin (The Office), Angela Sarafyan (Westworld), and Tony Amendola (Anabelle).

Telling stories without limits that explore social issues in unexpected ways is more than just the byline of his CV, it’s a personal mantra at his newly formed production company Panic House Films (co-founded with Caged producer Pete Kirtley).

A boyhood infatuation with genre filmmaking has continually influenced his project choices and distinct visual style.  Little did he know that an obsession with pop culture’s dark side would one day fuse with his desire to promote meaningful social change through art.

Directing music videos, commercials, and digital shorts with American and European clients early on in his career garnered opportunities to travel the world, forging significant friendships and international business partners along the way. 

After completing film school at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he moved back to his hometown of Los Angeles and began his career as a director.
